Lachlan has been working in the bus & coach industry since the age of 20, starting out on school runs at the school he attended as a child. Originally from South Australia's Yorke Peninsula, he was also a volunteer ambulance officer at his local station. Lachlan moved to Townsville with his partner in 2022 where he continued his coach driving career in the Bowen Basin coal region.
After having taught his own siblings and partner to drive as a supervising driver over the years, he felt that a professional driver training career would be a rewarding new direction to take. So when the time came to look for a more suitable job, and an ideal opportunity with Graduate became available, he decided to grab it with both hands.
