Steve is a valued new member of the Graduate School of Motoring team, bringing more than 23 years of experience and knowledge within the Australian transport industry.
Steve began his career as a musician before joining the Royal Australian Army Corps of Transport (RACT), where he gained extensive experience in military transport, including roles as a driver, tank transporter and road vehicle trade testing officer.
After leaving the Regular Army, Steve continued his career in the transport industry, working in linehaul, fuel and explosives transport, before progressing into management and compliance roles.
Steve also operated his own transport consulting business for 7.5 years, providing him with extensive knowledge across the industry.
With a strong passion for transport and driver training, Steve brings practical, industry-based knowledge in areas including Driver Training, Dangerous Goods, Fatigue Management, Load Restraint, Pilot and Escort Operations, Workplace Health and Safety and Chain of Responsibility.
Steve is committed to providing practical and professional training, helping students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to operate safely and responsibly on the road.
